Hmm, so you say it is called Western Friday because the day between Thanksgiving and the following weekend many people took a day off and did a lot of shopping... Like already buying presents for Christmas? And then businesses made such a good profit that it made up for all the losses they had that year until then? So they were no longer in the "red"?
