The raid is a quest line given by The Sheriff. It is one of the more lucrative quest lines in terms of Experience points, cash, and skill points. The story begins with the discovery of a body, has two paths which branch off early, and takes the player half way across the world.

Quests

Personal Profile

Hello little brother,
I was just about to start a big deal with a few good friends. But the Sheriff caught me during the last deal and now I'm stuck in jail in Yuma. You have to take care of the deal for me, little brother! In the Coyote desert near Capura someone will be waiting for me during the next five business days. The desert is in the south east of the country. You haven't met these men before. Wear a green shawl so they recognize you.
Take care bro. Don't mess it up!
Your brother Jeremy

Lucas: We can't wait forever. Scott must have found a replacement by now. He's waiting for us in the Dickson Forest.
Walter: We'll wait for another 5 minutes. We'll ride away if no one shows up. We should not miss out on the 20.000 dollars. </spoiler>

Decision

After completing Listening, you must make a decision, notify the sheriff, or join the bandits. Once you accept and complete the next quest, you've chosen your path and there's no turning back. How should you choose a path?

Build: The jobs required in the bandits' path are predominantly shooting jobs, while those in the sheriff's path are hiding jobs

Roleplaying/Morality: Choose the side of law and order, or join the outlaws.

Rewards: Going by cash, the bandits' path is the best at $13,578 vs $6,426. Going by XP, the sheriff's path is best at 10,250 XP vs 7,800. Both paths have the same skill point rewards.

Possibly the most important reason: <spoiler text="Click to read">The bandit's path is the only way to get the second key.</spoiler>
