Waupee
On the first glance it is obvious that Waupee is one of the native Americans. It is unusual to find an Indian in a saloon, but Waupee does not seem out of place. As opposed to other Indians he does not smoke his pipe for ritualism but for pure pleasure.
Waupee clearly does not care for contact with the other guests. He seems completely unemotional. Reason for his presence seems to be the deep and unconditional friendship between him and Henry Walker.
