A few months later you talk to Waupee.I am happy you helped my friend’s son and that everything worked out in the end. Ezhno means well, but he is just too bashful. I have heard that they are going to get married and we are invited to the wedding. It is a traditional wedding and we should bring some flowers, corn, bread and meat. And a vase from which they both will drink at the same time. If they’re able to do so without spilling any of the liquid, it’s a good omen for their future. But you maybe want to avoid talking to Matunaga.

It was a very nice wedding. You smoked a pipe with Ezhno’s father again. He said his son’s name will now be changed to Howi Miwok, because he found a wife. Also Kimama’s mother was very happy. She told you that she had her doubts that any suitor would ever even get near her daughter, with her overprotective brother and that other brawny guy courting her. You did not see Matunaga, but heard that he was on a hunting trip.For your help with bringing them together, the couple gives you a beautiful pouch, which Kimama has embroidered with the couples’ names. The only thing this adventure did not provide was a deeper understanding of women. Or did it?
