A lot of necessary remains unfinished if they don't get well soon. Maybe you can ask Doctor Jane which residents to help? We also need to find out what is causing all of this.

I'm glad you Henry send you! With each hour there are at least two new cases of the illness. Most of them say that they have horrible stomach aches. Some of them might also need help with their work. When they are feeling a little bit better please ask them to tell you as detailed as possible what they did within the last 2 days. As you arrive at the Foresters place you see him lying in bed hunched over in pain.Forester: Doctor Jane send you? You want to ask me something? Before I can answer anything I need something against this horrible pain. And somebody has to check the forest. Please help me, I haven't missed any working day in the forest for my hole life. Especially now during autumn where we have to keep the coyotes and wolves away. I will give you some extra money for each of them killed.You decide to help the Forester by checking the forest and bringing him some medicaments.

Thank you, you really helped protecting the forest. Now that I'm also feeling better I can tell you about my last two days... First I stood up and worked in the forest, felling trees and repairing some fences. In the afternoon I went to see the baker and got some new bread. In the evening I ate some of my hunted deer. As you arrive at the teachers place she looks like she is about to vomit. Her skin is showing a pale green. You can not remember that you have ever seen here in a condition that bad. She can barely speak right now, the only two things she is able to say are medicine and teach the children.You are leaving her to get some stomach medicine and to have a look at the children.

After teaching the children a bit you return to the teacher and hand her the medicine. After an hour her skin normalizes and she actually speak a few sentences.Teacher: Thank you for securing the children's education. Now that I'm feeling a little bit better I can tell you about my last two days... Two days ago I had some pancakes for breakfast before going to school. That evening I had a salad and some cheese. Yesterday I went to the baker to get myself some bread for lunch before going to school. In the evening the cramps started.You write down everything the teacher says. As you arrive at Angus' farm you see that he looks severely weakened while harvesting the crops on his farm. This man is crazy. Even when he is obviously sick he still does some work on the fields. You approach him and order him to rest. In the meantime you will be taking care of the farm and the medicine.

When you return Angus' is sleeping but wakes up as soon as he hears you enter. He look s already a bit better and the stomach medicine will help to cure him.Thank you for taking care of my farm! As you arrive at The Dancer she lays in bed, breathing heavily, suppressing a cry of pain. It is obvious that she can't entertain the guests that way. Therefore you decide to take things into your own hand.

Ad you return the Dancer's situation hasn't improved at all. You help her to take the medicine and decide to let her sleep a few hours before you talk to her. After four hours the Dancer wakes up, still weak, but able to speak.I was here at the stage for the last two days. Buffalo Bill brought us food. Some meat and fresh vegetables from the farm and some bread from the baker. This noon, a few hours after breakfast my stomach started to feel like somebody stabbed me with a knife.You take your notes and order the Dancer to rest for the next day.

As you arrive at the bakery it remains closed. Therefore you decide to knock on the bakers private door. As he opens the door he looks ill as well.What are you doing here? Can't you see that we are closed? I am sick!You can't confront the baker because of his current condition. Fortunately you still have some medicine with you.

As the baker gets better you inform him about the wave of sickness in the Wild West. You also tell him that all of them have eaten bread from the bakery. The baker is genuinely shocked. Since he was sick as well you don't think that the baker harmed anybody on purpose. You offer him to find out what happened to the bread. Thankfully he gives you some leftover bread for investigations.

Even though arsenic was used on a regular basis by woman to poison their husbands, arsenic can also be found in a lot of bread ingredients. The only safe thing should be the bakers yeast. But for the salt for example there could have been a mix-up. And arsenic tends to accumulate in cereals if the water that is used to water the plants contains a lot of arsenic. Therefore you should investigate the water, the salt and the cereals that the baker uses.

After gathering all the materials from the you return to the coroners lab and analyze the samples. But before you are doing that you inform the Baker about your progress.

Your return to the Baker with a good and some bad news. The good news is that you found the reason for all the arsenic. The bad news is that it is the water that the Baker uses. You might need to find a different source of water in the future. Water tends to accumulate arsenic when it is having contact to arsenic-rich stones, you either need to get rid of these stones or you need to dig a new well at a different place.
