Blackboard

The blackboard allows a player to see all towns listed on the blackboard and then instantly join one of these towns. It also allows town founders and councillors to see players who are searching for a town, and then invite them. The blackboard interface opens automatically when a townless player clicks on the town button. For all town members, the blackboard interface is accessible from the Invitations tab of the town hall.

The blackboard has three tabs, titled "Looking for players", "looking for towns", and a tab that shows all current town invitations.

This tab shows towns that are looking for players. Several towns will be listed. If you are a townless player, you can join any of these towns by clicking the "Join" button. The "pin to board" button allows town councillors to list their town on the blackboard, thus allowing players to instantly join. After their town is pinned, a councillor can remove the town from the blackboard by clicking "Remove from board".

This tab allows a player to display their profile to town councillors, who can then send the players a town invite by clicking the "Invite" button.

Town invitations

This tab simply shows all your current town invitations. You can accept a town invite here, but if you have left another town too recently, you will be unable to join a new town without waiting or paying 10 nuggets. More information

Notes

There are some important things to keep in mind when using the blackboard system:

  • You cannot use 10 nuggets to immediately join a town through the blackboard as opposed to accepting a town invite; you must wait till the town countdown has expired.
  • Using the blackboard to join a town will clear all of your town invites.
  • If a player used blackboard to join your town, you will NOT be given a report as you would be if the player accepted an invite sent by a town councillor.
