I met him one day, when he visited our village. He was the most handsome person i ever met, he was perfect. His beautiful smile and the way he moves. But there was one problem, I'm an Indian, he is not. Only people from the same cultural group can fall in love. He stopped in my village to ask for help, bandits attacked him the night before and his equipment got damaged. Luckily he pretended to sleep, so he wasn't injured. My village is still known for being helpful to everybody, we never say no to people in need.

My dad invited him to stay with us for a day or two, to rest and also to see if bandits are gone. All the young people sat together next to the fire and talked a lot about various topics. Of course we also ate a lot of great food. Our guest, the young trapper, prepared his favorite streak. It was delicious, but as he said "the recipe is my family secret". His stories were incredible... I still remember them.

When the fire was almost gone, the sun wasn't visible for hours, everybody slowly went to bed. They all decided to rest before the next day and new adventures, but not us. At some point we both realized we are alone. Others are sleeping in their beds. Did fortune want to tell me something? Maybe yes. I wasn't brave enough to change our conversation's direction. He told me one more story and asked to show him a safe place to sleep. You had to prepare something for him to cover over night.

When he was in his bed, I also went to mine. After an hour or two, I was still awake. Insomnia got me. What does it mean? What fortune wanted to tell me? I had a weird feeling in my stomach. In one second I was sure what to do. I left my bed and silently went outside. I was just thinking about when he will leave, but I had the only one answer: The latest the next day. My time was limited. I had to prepare him a special gift. Maybe a piece of clothing, maybe an amulet? I had to start preparations before everybody was awake.

The gift was ready, but I still had to give to the guest. When would be the best moment? Our village has a tradition: we all meet together for the breakfast, of course our guest joined us and... he sat just next to me. I felt how my heart beat faster and faster, especially when I saw his muscles and his smile. What's happening with me? Suddenly the young trapper asked if somebody could show him surroundings.  Of course I volunteered immediately, that was a chance to be with him a bit longer.

After the breakfast we both met and left the village.

Start
The trapper seems extremely happy to have me as his guide. While walking around the prairie he asked me to sit down on a big rock. He wanted to learn more about Indians, our life, our traditions, our relationships... With every minute when I talked about the rules and Indian's life, his face looked worse and worse. He looked like somebody who expected to receive a different answer, but I wanted to be honest. I also wanted to give him some other explanations, maybe he would ask me to stay with him for longer? Who knows? One moment I put my gift in his pocket, he probably didn't feel it. I hope he found it later. After that we collected some food in the forest and went back to the village.

I was very happy after the tour, but also I know that our time together is almost over.

The worst thing happened, the trapper was ready to leave the village. We all met to say goodbye and assure him that he can always visit us again. We wished him a good life and even more exciting adventures across the prairie. Also he received a gift from all the villagers. While he was leaving, he told me: "I will always remember you, you are the most beautiful person I ever met". And he left.

I found a small gift on my bed with a note "For the most beautiful person".
