Start I have a job for you. Do you know James Marshall? He is operating Sutter's mill, a big sawmill not far from here. He told me that he could use a hand. You seem like you might be the right person for that. This Quest is an event in celebration of the start of the Big Gold Rush on the 24th January 1848. You can accept this quest till 29th January.	Finish I have heard rumors from the sawmill. Is it true that you found shiny material - gold?

Start Oh no, somehow the press got wind of our little discovery. The newspapers are full of it. Soon, thousands of people will arrive, looking for gold. Quick, we need to take as many newspapers out of circulation as we can or the land will be overrun with people.	Finish You have collected a lot of newspapers. Still, hundreds of gold-rushers are flooding the area. They are sweeping every inch of the prairie.

Start These gold-rushers are everywhere. I read in the newspaper that 300,000 people have arrived here. The press calls them Forty-Niners.They will take all our shiny gold! Quickly now, get some shovels for us and my workers so we can search the claim. There has to be some gold left.	Finish You haven't found any gold? The gold-rushers have already picked up every piece.

Start All gold nuggets have already been picked up off the ground. Still, there must be something left in the riverbeds.There is a technique called panning. Get a pan and search the near riverbeds before the Forty-Niners have emptied them. A pan is a crafting component of the blacksmith profession. If you are not a blacksmith, have a look on a town market. You should be able to buy one there.	Finish No gold again... Oh no, I am ruined! Sorry I can't pay you for your services.

Start All of the workers at my mill have left to seek out gold of their own. They are all rich now and I am penniless. This is a disaster. I will have to close the sawmill down unless someone saws the piles and piles of wood that have been left behind. Tomorrow, the bailiffs will come and take my mill away from me.	Finish You sawed the wood the workers had abandoned?! Thank you so much				Here, you can have the bonds I got for selling the nugget you found. At least the California State Legislature awarded me a two-year pension in 1872, in recognition of my role in an important era.
