Man I'm tired. It was crazy at farmer Simmon's today. The whole neighborhood helped fix his fence. It seems that a few vandals tampered with it last night. I'd like to get my hands on them... We're still not done and the cattle seem to be all over the place. It would be great if you could help fix the rest of the fence. Oh yes, I forgot my hammer over there. It would be great if you could bring it back to me.

Sadly we still could not find Simmon's herd. Maybe you are more lucky than us. The prairie is very large, I won't let you try without an animal to ride on. You already have a great stallion, but my old donkey should serve you well. Donkeys are riding animals. They increase your speed on the map (as does the Riding skill). You can purchase mounts in the general store in towns or, with a bit of luck, at the mobile trader. Always remember: Different towns have a different assortment of goods.

I was just about to send you out in the prairie to find Simmon's cattle. But I just got a note that they were found at McLain's slaughterhouse. I guess someone tried to make a few quick bucks with them. Just good that McLain realized what's going on. Could you please take the cattle back to Simmon's farm? While you are waiting for the job to finish, you can do some NPC duels as well. But watch out so they don't knock you out!

I've talked to Henry about the whole story. I had the idea to use barbed wire to give a bit of extra protection. You should suggest this to Simmons. And you can directly start working on it.

You are the new hero of the local farmers. Simmons asked me to give you these shoes for your efforts. They will grant you an extra attribute point to your Strength, meaning all skills that depend on strength receive a bonus. Quite cool, isn't it?
