Howdy {PLAYER_NAME},How is your day going? Mine would also be great, but some time ago I received an invitation for the 195th anniversary of the founding of Independence. Yes, yes, Independence is the name of a city. The city's major has asked everyone to bring along items related to the city's history. He wants to build a museum. Years ago, my great-grandfather gave me a map of the Wild West. It is the first map mentioning Independence. But now… I can't find it! I've been moving a lot during my life and have probably left it in one of my old homes or at a friend's house. Can you ask around? Maybe someone knows where it is.
Finish
You have found all pieces of the map! It's ridiculous what happened. Thank you so much, now I can participate in the celebration!

Independence? Of course I know this city. It was founded on March 28, 1827 and sits right at the banks of the Missouri River. This has a lot of advantages, you know. The bigger steamboats and other cargo ships could travel the Missouri all the way up there, but not further. And a few miles from the city, the Kansas River meets the Missouri River. So, the city became an important trade point, mainly for fur. But it was also there that many pioneers, settlers and adventurers moving out West were supplied with everything they needed. I have seen the map somewhere. I need to think... Can you replace me at my work while I try to figure out where it is? I also need some cigars.
Finish
Thank you. I now remember that I last saw the map in a place with a lot of granite. Sorry, I don’t know anything more.

I think everyone knows Independence. I have never been there, but I know a lot of stories about the town. It was named Independence after the Declaration of Independence. Isn't that interesting? You are looking for a map? I think I know where it might be. I will share this fantastic knowledge if you could bring me three guns. Deal?
Finish
The quality of these guns is to my satisfaction. Thank you. If I were you, I would look for the map at a place where beavers can be found.

Oh, my family was living in Independence years ago! In 1849, my great-grandfather ran for major, but unfortunately he lost and William McCoy was elected. But well, in the end my great-grandfather was lucky, because he met his wife just after the elections. I know where the map is, but I first need your help. There are some ruffians who attack me almost every day. Can you stand up to them? We can smoke a pipe later.
Finish
Thank you, that was very brave. I hope they won't come back. I saw the map while checking if the river is straight enough.

I'm a history enthusiast, so of course I know Independence. During the Civil War two battles took place there, one in 1862 and the other in 1864. During the first, the Confederates took control of the city, and in 1864 the Union reclaimed it. My dream is to one day see how these battles looked like, maybe with a reenactment. I for sure know where the map is. But before I tell you, can you bring some fodder for my horse? I would also be extremely happy about two new flags for my collection.
Finish
Okay, thanks! Now my big secret. I saw the map at the cemetery.

Hey! I know one interesting fact about Independence. One of the former presidents of the United States, Harry S. Truman, grew up there. After his presidency, he and his wife (who was born there) returned to Independence and they are both buried there.Do you need more pieces of the map? If you help me with something, I will give you a hint.
Finish
Perfect, perfect. I saw the map on a pasture.

I am back from the festivities in Independence. It actually was pretty great, and the city major loved the map! Of course, I also told him about you and everything you did to find the map. He wants to thank you and gave me a small gift for you. Please take and enjoy it!
Finish
This was fun. I hope we’ll soon have more adventures!
